Quarterly Meeting & Memorial Service 

April 12, 2017 - 10:00

SCFA Denny Auditorium 

The next quarterly meeting will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at the South Carolina Fire Academy Denny Auditorium. 

The 2016 LODD Memorial will follow at 11:00 am in the Memorial Plaza to honor our fallen brothers. Lunch will be available at 12:00 in the cafeteria.

The U. S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Preparedness Directorate, National Training and Education Division (NTED) is pleased to announce the certification of AWR-342, Maturing Public Private Partnership Course developed by the Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management (MACEM) at Frederick Community College (FCC).  (Click on the Title Bar to link to the Flyer)

2017 Fire Service Improvement Conference

The 2017 Fire Service Improvement Conference will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, downtown Columbia on January 27-29, 2017. The event is free to all members, but registration is required.

Tim Sendelbach, Editor-in-Chief of Firehouse, will be presenting two programs on leadership. Other presenters include Jacob Evans & Erik Adams, Chief Greg Bulanow of N. Charleston Fire as well as Twitter famed, Sgt. Bob Beres (@TooperBobSCHP). Jason Derrick with Mid-Carolina and a number of others are also presenting.

The Annual Memorial Service will also be held on Saturday, January 28 at Bible Way Church at 2 p.m. This heartwarming service is where we all recognize and honor members who passed away in the past year.
